harakiri divine

now I know what it feels like to embrace the end
the ultimate way to get rid
get rid of all questions
all shackles
all chains and the depths
the turbulence

its heaven to solve one issue
wrapped like a venomous snake
a heavy sigh of relief
while letting others still clinging in tight embrace

and what heaven to let go
all of them in one go
just jump to the far reaches
float onto the air
savouring some moments of peace when yet alive

and then..
nothing matters

freedom from the iron clutches of dark lord
making existence heavier by day

breaking the bondage of all ifs and buts
sapping life n turning me gray

in the sea of pure serenity
absolved
this figure of clay

  1. Wow, this is the simplest poem I came across till date but yet it says what it want to say, so subtly! What really 1st struck me is the title.
Honestly, I didn't even know what 'Harakiri' meant and when I did, the title itself struck me good and prepared me for the rest of the poem. Really loved the last lines, 'in the sea of pure serenity...absolved...this figure of clay'! Brilliant! Awesome and the perfect right words, describing an end to misery.

  2. This was written in one of my darkest moods. Writing this blog, was/is a therapy. Penning my vilest thoughts to get rid of them, rather than keep letting them hover around and trouble me.

This was in one of my rarest suicidal mode, though I know am the last person who would do such a thing.
But living it while writing these lines was like relishing a Sin through fantasy.

Thanks for the appreciating the most loved part of it. That you even visited here, gives these solitary pieces a reason for joy.

  3. :) oh, but suicidal...? in reality?!!! You, know, I gotta confess something to u too! Not exactly the same, I was in the same tone of mood while writing 'Excruciation'. It was sheer pain and hurt. So even when you write something deep and painful in such a devotional way, I can still feel the pain in there!
